Well it's finished... and it actually works great... I'll take some portraits of my wife later when she gets home... until then heres a sample... sorry the pictures are so big.. I wanted you to see it up close.
Supplies:
Black Umbrella from the dollar store ($2)
Clamp from Home Hardware ($3)
Old Tripod (free, as it's been sitting around here for ever)
Heavy Duty Tinfoil ($3)
Mitre Bond Industrial 2 stage glue ($20)
Total cost for this project... $28... total time.. 1 hour or so...
Heres the flash mounted on the camera, no umbrella:
And heres the umbrella at a 45/45.. as you can see, its a lot less harsh.. i do need to work with the umbrella a little more though, as I've never used one..
