And your background is a little bit problematic as well, too busy for my taste.

I don't like the seipa(?) with the green toy, it looks out of place. The look on the dog's face is priceless though

Cute dog! I don't like the sepia,the selective coloring or the toy on the dogs head. I also don't like the background. The dogs expression is great though.

Well, thank you for all the input so far. It was a quick shot that I just edited for the fun of it. The main reason I posted it was because of the expression, so glad you guys liked that part at least.

I feel slightly annoyed when I see it . Not only is the processing bad ( and I don't mean this just to sound mean, it just doesn't work with this shot. ) Also focus seems to be more on the dogs nose. Focus should be on the dogs eyes. Also, next time try shooting vertical to get less of the background clutter and more of your subject filling the frame. If you had taken the same shot, with decent lighting ( no wierd effects added ) shot vertical with the dog filling the frame and the eyes tack sharp, I think everyone would be telling you that you did a great job and its a nice candid humorous shot.

Cute, but if you were going to do the selective coloring, I think I'd like it better in black and white. Also I do agree with the background comment - a cleaner background would have been nicer. But great expression in the dog's face!
