The first thing that jumps out at me is the over processed eyes, it is too much in my opinion. I love shallow depth of field but I think this is a smidge too shallow, I wish his little nose, cheeks, lips and eyes were all in focus. Cute little guy! even though he does look a tad concerned.

For starters... the kid looks miserable, you've cut off bits of his head, the colors seem a little off, and the person's fingers in the image are distracting.
