My first Boudoir Shot

It is pretty rough, to be frank.

The lighting is very harsh. The image and color processing hurts...the ghost outline around her and the frame is very distracting. The carpet looks like fake grass in a bedroom. I don't know what happened to her bra...but it is completely abscent...it is completely without depth.

The background is distracting...appears to be more like a snapshot next to a bed. Did you "autograph" the picture and put a title?

As for her...is that a hair band on her right wrist? Avoid jewelry that has no contrast with her skin (necklace). What happened to her eyebrow?

Sorry to be so harsh...but just my quick observations.

This is going to sound a bit cruel but to me the art of boudoir is sensual and sexy without trying to hard. Not obviously flaunting your bits. This is very obvious in pose and is more adult movie box cover art.

Also, watch your backgrounds. There's a lot of distracting detail behind the subject.

Composition is a little too snapshotty. Too much at the bottom, not enough space at the top. Too centered left to right. It lacks a sense of balance. Awfully ute though.

Hmmm...I'm not trying to be mean at all...but why put "The Art of Boudoir PHOTOgraphy"? And on top of that why is PHOTO in all caps? I think you need to focus on the core concepts of boudoir photography first...I'm not really a fan of anything about this image. But like I said I'm not trying to be mean or harsh...just honest thats all lol.
