My first C&C

Hey guys. This is my first real C&C. I know I need a lot of work so all of your criticism is greatly appreciated. If this is too many pictures for this forum I will gladly shorten it. Most of these are from my trip to the zoo, at night. So almost all of these shots are indoors through glass. Help with working in that kind of environment is greatly appreciated. I also have to say most of these got no PP, because all I have is iPhoto and I know next to nothing about it. I realize that the rabbit shots have read eye, I can edit that out but just haven't yet. I am shooting with a D90. Thanks all!

If I didn't follow the conventions of a normal C&C please tell me. Also if you would like to edit my pictures to give me ideas or for your own fun by all means please feel free!

First tip, less pictures. If you want quality CC, post 3-4 at a time. People will tend to linger longer rather than quickly scrolling through 20 odd pictures

#3 is decent
#11, 12, 14 I like

Most of them look like "snapshots". There's too much going on, the subject is not property framed or in focus. Best way to learn is by doing, so keep it up!

Way too many images for which to provide effective critique. May I suggest post 2-4 of those you consider your best in a new thread? In general the images are interesting, but I see a lot of missed focus and room for compositional improvement.

#12 got a little bit of post production. Actually all I did was both boost and fade color to level 6 in iphoto. for that picture. The only PP I did for some of the others was B&W

Love the pic no #12.. Would you like to try take from different angle (front corner) and get closer to those grasshoppers?
