So I got lucky, my first couple not hard to look at and photographed well. They were fun spirited and willing to try whatever we came up with. Natural light/gold reflector. D700 70-200
Nice set, Bill! I particularly like 5, 7, and 8. 5 being my favorite. Very strong pose, and you can tell they love each other.
A few nits to pick...
3. His elbow looks a bit forced to be there. Not sure if you gave that directive or not. It just doesn't appear to be natural. Not a shot-killer though.
4. Not sure about this one. If it weren't so tilted and a bit more symmetrical, it would probably work a little better.
6. I REALLY wish I could see her eyes, in what otherwise is a very nice moment. His face is slightly questionable, it does look somewhat unflattering. Did you get any others in this pose?
Thanks Tyler. Yes, I suggested he prop his elbows on the fence. Hmm, I usually agree and hate faux tilt but felt this one benefited a bit with it. Yes, there are a few of them clowning around piggy-back. I liked this one, the way she looks at him. All in all there are 100 or so frames for the couple to choose their favorite
we love fun and spirited couples willing to try whatever we come up with!
very nice set!
#5 is my favorite, followed by #1 and #3
my only minor nitpic would be to maybe brush down flyaway strands of hair
To my eye the mood is here because the lines are working and the backgroung conveys emotions: the stone curves and shadows give you the sense of movement, time flow - always great in a shot of a couple who have life ahead of them.
