I actually really like this. It is not a realistic HDR at all, but that clearly isn't the look that you were going for. The composition, the sky, and the unnatural HDR effect gives this a very artsy feel which I'm digging here.

But, I think you went too far on the saturation. Of course it's subjective, JMO.

I like it except for the bit of grass or whatever in the bottom left. I'd darken and desaturate that part. Other than that, it's cool!

thank you for your comments!
i used photomatix first to generate the hdr file, and then photoshop to delete most of the background, create the clouds and play with saturation and contrast.
