Thanks for your kind comment.
I like your first one with the bright colors.
It is hard to not get red to wash out and become flat and I think it started to do that on your second photo.
But your first one really hit it awesome.

i agree, i think the red in the first ones really stands out, its more dramatic. nice shots!

Yet another great beginner arrives at TPF, welcome Amy, great images. I particularly like the flowers in the glasses I think i like the background more in the second to last image than the first two as well. You're really quite good at the selective colouring as well. It's something i've not attempted as yet. Maybe i'll track you down for some tips some time

Well, I like the first version better with the bright red color! It is much more "story telling".
