I'm not to crazy about the cropping in # 2 & 4 # 4 mostly ( cut off hand & fingers) pet peeve of mine LOL. I always say If your going to show that much of the (in this case) arms Show it all. Or crop above the elbow.
 
Good shots, this guy looks like the "all American male" at that age. They'd all work B&W and color. One thing I suggest, to the few people who I do portraits for, is never wear anything that has a logo for clothing... yes it's in style now but it won't be years from now.
 
Thanks for the advice guys! I agree John, that the crop in #4 is lame but I like the crop in #2. And I never even thought of that AverageJoe, I'll keep that in mind from now on!
 
That wow 1st one has some real potential in photoshop with those clouds
 
Good job! I think in #2 and #4 he looks a little like a young Tom Hanks!
