Very nice. I wish I had a camera that would hold the shutter open long enough to take night and sky pictures.

Heh, you fellas should have joined me at my recent military camp which took place in the northern parts of Finland. The sun was up only 2-3 hours per day and 90% of the time the sky was as clear as possible. You could see the stars sooo well that I couldn´t really believe my eyes. And one night when I was patrolling a bit there were the biggest northern lights I've ever seen! If you looked straight up at the sky, the whole vision was filled with rapidly changing/moving colours ranging from red to purple and green. It was just insane! And of course I didn't have my camera with me.... Anyway, if you can bear around -25 to -30 Celsius temperatures and the sometimes-so-depressing darknes, come here to take some great shots

There are places near me with NO light pollution, I mean absolutely nada...
Only have to drive about 15 minutes.
