I learned so much! I seriously can not believe how much you learn by doing vs reading.

Very nice, what equipment did you use if I may ask.

I had a D200 with a 70-200 2.8 AF-S VR IS Nikor lens and a D3000 with a 35mm lens.
I also had an SB-600 however I could not use it in the church, nor could I move from a tiny corner in the far far back (church rules....)

Thanks guys.

Very nice job. It's hard to mess up black and white wedding pictures, because of the emotional value and beauty oozing from every corner. They'll be happy with the pictures.

I do not understand how she has long hair in one shot & short in the next.

I believe its was pinned up in the ones where it looks short. So the ones where it is long most have been before her hair was done.

Very nice. If you want them to be perfect then restore the vertical lines to vertical. i.e. correct for camera distortion using software. Look again at the photos on the walls, the window edges/drapes and the arch. Likewise any horizontal lines that may end up tilted.

yes, some were taken before her hair was up, because she liked it both ways, so I wanted it to be taken both ways!

Good shots-you captured some nice moments. I agree with straightening up the vertical lines, and also do some studying on bounce flash-the flash on a few of the shots is pretty harsh. Other than that, well done!

The only ones where flash was used is the first set with her dancing with her father.

We were in a building with 20 foot plus ceilings and I was not sure what to do with the flash, so I just put it at 1/64th power and bounced it off the ceiling...

Got to work on that. lol

Bounce card.

Great work. You seem to have done better than most at your first attempt.

I really like the light in your last one =) I can't give too much CC because it's hard to see a lot of detail in the tiny sized pictures.
