My husband is building me a computer!

I have a super awesome and supportive hubby My macbook is dying and he offered to build me a desktop! It may take a few months but soon enough I will be editing on a custom built photo editing computer. Anyone here built one? Any words of advice? I'm sure when we get down to deciding specifics I will be asking for more detailed advice.

Awesome charlie! I will for sure keep you in mind when I have questions! He built one a few years back for gaming but we sold it and only have our laptops now. I am so excited! I figured before I upgrade my camera I should upgrade my computer so I can really edit how I want to on a calibrated screen!
