Lighting and stuff is fine, its the pink underwear hanging out the bottom and tops that kill it for me. lol

That said, it looks better without it. Lol.

Now, your model is very cute but you need to control her. I mean, get rid of the underwear before the shoot. Get rid of the over-worked smiles. Get her to be more natural.

First, thank you for the C&C,

c.cloudwalker I agree. Actually it isn't underwear but pink shorts under her costume.... I can't explain why but I hadn't even noticed until I was editing. I am new to all this, and she is too. She likes to make all these funny faces! I will work with her again and continue to improve (hopefully) as will she. Definitely will be working on expression and a more natural background

My best guess is that she doesn't know what else to do.

You, as the photog, need to tell her what to do. So, yes, keep practicing as long as she is willing. But practice not only your skills as a photog, like keeping an eye on details like the underwear that is not underwear, also practice your skills at directing a model. It is especially important with one that is not a pro.

The lighting looks good to me on the first 3, but on this third shot it appears that the model got a bit washed out and the colors are less vibrant. Otherwise, nice job.

This shot also looks a bit soft on focus to me. I dunno. I had a lot of wine last night so maybe my eyes are out of whack today.
