My Newest Toy

A well cared for, used, 120 mm f/8.3 (1000 mm) air-spaced achromat refractor, 6x80 finder, 1.25" diagonal, 25 mm & 10 mm Plössl eyepieces. It has a 2" rack and pinion focuser so I can use my 2" diameter low magnification eyepieces.
I've been watching the classifieds for a bit over 3 months.

Bonus. It's going to be clear tonight so I'll get to use it in a few hours to look at the night sky.

I have a telescope that I don't use. It's not like that one, so don't feel like you missed the boat. I could never actually see anything in focus except for a distant water tower. Oh, well, I'll probably shove it off onto the Salvation Army and let them get a few bucks for it.

Sweet, I do quite fancy a telescope at somepoint myself. Don't have the room for it right now but maybe after we move house I'll get enough room for one
