Nice shots!
I keep looking at the first one, because I know it's tilted, but the right stair rail is straight, it's intriguing.

Thanks! That one was interesting, I wasn't sure how it would come out. I plunked my tripod down and had a friend light the sign up with an LED flashlight for an impromptu shot. I think the angles came out that way because the way the ground was sloped at the base of the stairway.

The lighting shot is the best one - the green area is like an artistic spark. I would remove the wires in the 3rd and 4th ones.

While the lightning photo is as exciting as lightning photos are (I've never got one myself...!), I quite like the Frontier Cottage one because of the light - the moon in the sky and a nice, warm side light. I really like it.

I like the Oxley Center and frontier cottage very much; why moon above the oxley centre looks oblong?

I haven't. I'm using Photoshop CS5, how do I look for distortion and fix it?

Frequency, I'm not sure what you're seeing, it looks round to me. Maybe lens distortion? The cloud motion around it may be adding to that as well.
