Anyway, I worked with this a little, but it didn't need much.
What I noticed is that the sensor is so sensitive that you better have your game face on.
It's totally different from the K7.
Looks exactly the same.

You can see things in the image that weren't there with the K7.
Seemingly the K7 is far more forgiving.
Maybe I'm wrong about all of this and just not used to the camera. The K5 seems to resolve better. ISO 800 seems to be on par or better than ISO 200 from my K7.
It seems to me that color accuracy is better overall. But again, I haven't had any time with this camera. A couple shots after work before it got dark.

Lightroom 3 , for some reason can't read a .PEF raw file from the K5................While it CAN read a .PEF raw file from the K7 , which has me baffled.
Can't figure that one out.
Changed it over to DNG.
All in all, from what I've seen so far, I think I'll be happy with the K5 for a while, until the next latest greatest comes along.

I have no idea what this bug is. I didn't have time to go anywhere so I caught this in plain ole grass in the back yard. That's a blade of grass with the redish tip.
Identify the bug. If you will.

Thanks for looking.
