We were loading the car to go to his bday party the other day when I noticed him leaning on the tree. The scans probably aren't that great and they need cropped but here goes...

Anyone have any suggestions on what I could do better?
I know the crop could be tighter, it was a grab and shoot moment.

I don't know what it is at the bottom of your photos in 1&3 but it almost looks like the top of a car. Maybe crop that part out.

Does he look just a tiny bit mischievous?
In case I see that right, would that reflect his true self?

In the first, his reflection in the car roof is complete, so I would crop in from above but leave that bit of roof intact.

In the third, however, it is only distracting and you would want to crop it off, maybe?

Is this digital photography or have you scanned in your prints?

Actually he is a bit mischievous.
These were scanned from a neg onto a cd at Walgreens.
Do you think a better film would be better.
I was using 200 iso store brand.
I'll try to crop and repost later.
