My Son - Trying out new Umbrella

Got a new Umbrella in the mail thanks to cgipson1 and was excited to try it out.

Glad to hear it arrived! The stand, adapter and umbrella were satisfactory? I forgot to mention I was shipping you a white umbrella... not a gold one, but that is actually better!

Nice and sharp. but a bit bright maybe! How far away was the setup from your son?

...with my untrained eye,I agree the skin tone is a bit bright,but otherwise looks fine (to me).My question would be,how do you tone down the skin without toning down the entire pic?Can that only be done in post.BTW...a very happy young man posing for you,runnah.

He was close, but it was a moving target.

I've always had trouble with his skin tone because he is very pale.

About 1/2 stop hot but you can fix it in post, very cute boy. Use a fill card behind him to open the shadow area just a little.

Yes a bit bright, but my goodness what a cute little buddy. My advice is to hug, cuddle, kiss, wrestle, tickle, tackle, giggle as much as you can. They grow way too fast. Enjoy the heck out of him and the gazillion photos you will be taking.
