My Story

Well, it's been a while. Been distracted with some other stuff, but leave it to my 7-year old to get me back on the camera. The PTA in his school is participating in the Reflections art contest and the theme this year is "My Story". On his own he decided he wanted to take photos at the family farm where my grandpa, and the namesake for my son's middle name, farmed.

So, if he's going to shoot, I guess I'll throw my camera in too. Here's a quick set of some of the first ones. The farm is gradually falling in on itself which is a bit sad, but makes for some great photos.

Old barns and people are a lot alike, the outside weathers and turns silver gray, while on the inside the beauty grows with each memory of another day passing. Love the textures.
