So much for shutter speed = focal length eh. ;)

I prefer the first one, although it looks like it could do with straightening. But maybe it's because the trees are slightly leaning, giving the illusion of the window looking crooked...

The window looks crooked because the camera is at an angle to it , not square on. There is camera shake in both shots but more evident in the second due to greater zoom on the lens. I was just fooling around & never expected the shots to be this good hand held.

When the lighting is dim like that, and one needs to make a picture despite poor light or inherent under-exposure or being "under-lensed", it's often a good idea to shoot with the camera set to Continuous advance, and to shoot in two- and three-shot sequences. The first press of the shutter release often creates a slight bit of camera shake that is not present in the second or third exposures, since the release has not been pressed per se, but merely held down. ANd yes, there may or may not be some slight camera shake, but at smaller sizes, it is often not that big of a problem. Getting the picture outweighs a slight bit of camera shake.
