I agree. That's something that should have been adjusted before the shot was taken. I think it takes away from the photo!

Thanks. It was more of a quick snapshot than a posed portrait. It's hard to get her to sit still for these sorts of things

I find that the shadow of her glasses is distracting to the image. It does look as if it were getting close to sunset...but direct sunlight is still not the best lighting for people.

You did seem to capture an nice, natural expression.
