My younger sister in the forest and new Nikon!

Hello, I've just purchased a nikon d7000, and today I did a few shots with my little sister in the forest. She never wants me to photograph her, and it's hard to get a smile on her face, but I got a few nice shots out of it. Now... the d7000 is new for me, and I still don't master my 50mm lens, but what do you think of these photos? I'm quite unsure about the crop (especially on the third...) Thanks for looking!

She looks kinda frumpy in the first image. The other two are better, and the third makes her look adorable. Great expression!

I think you are missing a bit in the second picture.
The bright background really distracts from the lovely face.
By darking the background and increasing the saturation a bit, it makes an even nicer image, imo.
