I like them both but the 2nd is the best with the shadow cast...

Thanks! The sun was reflecting off the floor at just the right angle and I couldn't pass it up. Took three tries until his head was in just the right position and I had the camera aimed.

The shadow in the second is - wow. Haunting in a way .
A pity that in the first, nice and crisp cat-photo the one ear got cut off (cropped out would be the right expression). More so since the backlit and translucent ears make this photo...
