Natural Light Portraits

I deleted my post. I like The Photoforum a lot, it"s one of the friendliest and most informative forums, but portrait photography is just not popular for some reason - either in the People or the Black and White forums.

I don't really comment on portrait photography as I am basically a landscape guy so wouldn't know a good portrait from a bad one. It's appears to be a very technical subject, out-of-camera lights and reflectors , posing, holding your hands right, catch lights etc.

I haven’t had much interest in portraits but I’m really considering them.
