I had the opportunity to take a tour of the last section of the Foothills Parkway through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park which has taken about 40 years to complete. This section is on the Tennessee side of the Smoky's. We were able to walk up the road over several bridges before the public was allowed to use the road. Here are a few shots I took:

I used to live in the TN Smokey Mountains for two years, this brings back memories.

Is there anything that can be done to optimize the image to remove the haze in the second range (assumption is post processing)?

That haze is why they call them the Smokys.
