First time shooting macro, I know I have a lot to learn.....

All of these were shot handheld using natural light. Most were shot at f/11, the blue ant guy was at f/8 I believe (it was in a shaded area and he was quick).

Let me know the good, the bad, and the ugly.....

I think you did very well for a first time macro shoot Pink. You managed the DOF nicely.

on the blue guy my eyes tend to go towards the moss

just a little distracting

other than that their pretty good
