ND Filter

I'm not sure if this is in the right place. Anyways,

I'm looking for an ND Filter. I'm not sure how to choose the right one as I've never had one of these filters. How can I get the best bang for my buck? I'm not gonna be spending more that $80 on it. I want a good filter that will be good for my price range.
