I was looking for a camera that can be used for robotics purpose. Can anyone suggest me a good compact camera?I came across Vadzo Imaging's IMX335 MIPI Fixed Focus HDR Camera, Have anyone used it before? It is good for this purpose? Or should I search the market for some other. Kindly suggest.

Seems youre shopping for an industrial robotic vision camera. This is an entirely wrong forum for that sort of thing :-(

Depending on how you feel about "serious hacking", you could start with a cheap or used "action camera". Just keep in mind that documentation is generally sparse. Do not expect to be able to get it done for, maybe half a year. An old GoPro might be a candidate.
