Need advice on my canon 5d

Just got a new Canon 5d and was wondering if anyone can tell what the white dots are on the picture. It there something wrong with the camera? It happens on a few pictures already. Please advice. I know it's a bad shot but I just need help to see what's wrong with the new camera

Reflection/refraction of light from the subject bouncing around inside your lens, there's nothing wrong with lens or camera, operator error/inexperience. H

Some of those lights in the sky look suspiciously like commercial jet traffic...

Could be, some of it, but think I'll stick with lensflare as some of the light groupings look like those on the bridge. H
