Looks great, not sure how deep you want us to go with the CC.

First off I think that you hit the focus well. It's a little shallow for my liking but her eyes are in focus, at least from what I can tell.

These are just a few very minor things and probably more being picky

1. There is a stray hair across her left eye and bridge of her nose
2. I would clear up the acne on her chin more and if you are up to a challenge I would try and clear up some of the flakes from her mascara around her eyes
3. I would soften the circles under her eyes a bit
4. She looks a little underexposed

^^That!^^ (Except the part about growing up near Wabash; I didn't) As well, you really didn't do the young lady justice; she's got a terrific expression, but all we get to see is a disembodied head; generally speaking, compose for a least a bust shot (that is to the top of the bustline), and try and avoid limbs appearing from nowhere; whose hand is that? As well, don't be afraid to add light; sometimes lots of light. That would have allowed you to knock down the background over-exposure, have her face properly exposed and given her a lot more 'pop'.

I think ruggedshutter nailed it. The focus is great. How underexposed is what stands out the most to me. If it were my picture I would definitely brighten it up significantly. And get rid of the pimples. It also feels like it's cropped too close to her left shoulder.

Not a fan of nuked highlights. It is a very nice portrait. I think she was probably this color.
