Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I'm new to photography as a hobby, and I'd appreciate some suggestions for a good quality, though affordable (< $ 200) flash for my Nikon FM10.

Thanks

Any flash would work on your fm10.

id get a vivitgar 285hv

The Vivitar is a good, cheap flash. If you want TTL metering, you can check out the Sunpak PZ42X. I just picked up a Yongnuo YN-560 on Ebay. It's all manual, but dirt cheap and powerful.

im an not 100 % sure but i think the nikon FM10 doesnt have ttl.

From the Nikon site:

Flash Synchronization: X sync only at 1/125 or slower.

So no TTL.

Go on Ebay and get an SB 24 or25/26/28

The 26 or 28 might be better for their Auto-Thryster. (lets you shoot the flash in auto with out TTL but if you're going to do this much you should look into Metz flashes as they have the best Auto-thryster sensors around)
