Need Help Braving the Digital Waters..!!

Considering the D50 and D40 are similarly Priced I woulud go with the D50. First off the lack of its ability to use autofocis on all Nikkon lenses is a turn off and secondly it is so small. I feel like I might looose it in my hand. The D50 is by no means obsolete, I hav eno idea whatthe store was talking about. As for the D50 vs D70 the D70 has a couple added options that the d50 doesn't but aside from the lack of a depth of field preview on the D50 they can do the same exactthing and have the same exact sensor I believe. Furthermore I believe if you understand D.O.F. you do not need the DOF preview. The D50 is probably the best DSLR on the market dollar for dollar.
