Hi all, this is my first threat and i would like to ask for opinions from masters here. I have several options to choose Panasonic lx10, fujifilm x70, fujifilm x100F, and leica d-lux.

I know x100F is the newest but i still find leica d-lux at advantages at some points though its 2014 or 2015 product. I'm looking more for travelling camera with good image quality. I dont really editing my photos too..
Any suggestion maybe?

avoid a Leica digital camera at all costs
of the lot...get the X100F or X70 (if money is a concern)

Fujifilm x100F

Personally I love my Leica. It's film though.

Seems like the similar Panasonic is $300 or so less costly than the Leica, but both are older tech and only 12 megapixels, is that right? And both are bettered by newer Sony and Canon point and shoot type cameras? Not sure whatrthe Leica d-lux allure or advantage is, specifically. Is it that it is branded as a Leica? Or is it really a Panasonic camera wearing a Leica red dot badge?

If you do not like editing images, Olympus and Fuji have long been considered to be very strong SOOC JPEG creators. Maybe look at the z100F from Fuji?

I dunno what you want from us here?Advice? Or the suggestion to buy a camera you already favor? No mention of budget, so your purchasing strategy is a bit of a mystery to me. As always, I recommend a budget-based list, and then a trip to the store where you will actually buy the camera from, to check the choices out in-person.

The X100F is a great street camera.

The Panasonic has a 1" 20 mega pixel sensor. The Leica has a 4/3rds 12.6 mega pixel sensor.

The Fuji x100f has a APS-C 20 mega pixel sensor.

Hopefully people understand that the "1-inch" sensor is much, much smaller than the 4/3 sensor. I wish they had never, ever adopted that "1-inch sensor" nomenclature! I think it fools a lot of people into thinking 1-inch means something like full-frame, or larger-than-APS-C.

I dunno...if the OP doesn't want to process images...maybe there's something else besides image quality behind the choice of camera?

But when I asked if the Leica D-Lux Typ 109 is not the "same" as the Panasonic LX100 (not the Lx10 he was considering), it seems they ARE very close, and both have the SAME sized Micro 4/3 sensor:
