Need help with ICC Profile for printing

Im in a printing class and next week we are suppose to have 5 prints using the Epson Signature Worthy Sample Pack. However, I havent been able to find the ICC profile to use on the Canon Pro 1 printer we have at the school for the use with the Epson paper. Anyone know where I can find the profiles or know of an ICC profile that works well with the Epson papers?

Paper printing profiles can typically be downloaded from the website of the paper manufacturer. In the case of those Epson papers their profiles are located here: ICC Profiles: Epson Professional Imaging

Unfortunately in your case, Epson is also a printer manufacturer and so from their perspective you're of course using an Epson printer with those papers; no other option is even thinkable. Canon who makes the Pro 1 printer does supply ICC profiles for third party papers (paper isn't a big business for Canon) which you can download here: Canon U.S.A. : ICC Profiles for Compatible Third Party Papers, however you'll notice that Epson papers are not among those listed.

What you're asking for would be like visiting the world headquarters of Coke and expecting to find a Pepsi vending machine in the lobby. To get the profiles you want you're either going to make them yourself or pay someone to make them for you -- strictly a non-vendor-sanctioned custom product.

Even if you could find them I'm doubting that the monitors in a computer lab are calibrated so having the icc profiles would not help much.

thank you both for the comments. I had heard that about Epson but wasnt sure it was true but it makes sense. I havent got a clue as to how to make one myself so Ill see if I can just find some from another paper company (Moab maybe?) and see if I can just find some that use similar paper and just hope for the best haha. I had asked my teacher about this and his response was "Youre a professional photographer, you just bought a canon printer and got rid of your epson. You have a big name client that needs prints now. What do you do?" and I said "research" and he winked at me.

We have printed on the Red River papers already and they have the profiles on their site which made it easy to find.

Also the computers are calibrated. Its a small computer lab that is specific for the photography department only. We have we 17 computers, 4 Canon Pro 1s, one Epson 1700 (I think. We are not suppose to use the Epsons yet) and an Epson 9900.

You can make a profile yourself using a spectrophotometer to profile the paper in the printer that will be making the prints.
Perhaps the school has one.
