I have the T5I and I used to run the 400mm f5.6 on it.
Good combination. My son now owns the 400mm and has it on his 80D and takes images just as well as I do with my setup.

Just get a 35mm or a 28mm. Perfect for street or landscape in particular.

The pancake 24 and 40(?) EF-S models might be worth looking into for a crop sensor Canon.
