Need some C&C and help regarding Nature shots Post processing

Okay, but that's a whole different process requiring multiple images a tripod, and potentially, significant time in the pixel room. The advantage to using a G-ND is that it's right the first time.

I agree, but for me, I don't mind spending time in Photoshop. I don't have a life...LOL!

Hokay... 'splain to me how, with post-processing to recover the blown highlights in the clouds of a sunset?

HDR :)

not with a single raw file but 2-3

and the GND looks more natural. SO I will use a GND of course. Is that the only technical issue with my photo? Or is there anything else?

That's really the only technical issue I could see. I would try again using a scene with more detail. That will help determine how well the image is stitched.

I hate to be rude, but..... I wish I was good enough to "get it right in camera" like tirediron seems to suggest he is. I know, that was rude, but sometimes I get tired of the "get it right in camera" comments. Until I meet the photographer that "gets it right in camera" all the time, and shows me they do zero editing, I'll shoot for getting it right in camera, but not pretend to live and breathe by that as a rule.
