I really like the bokeh on #1 & #3, although #3 seems a bit soft.
What lens was used to take these pictures?

#2 I also like the color & composition.
#4 is a bit too busy to my liking but I like happy mom & happy baby.

1 & 3 i used a 50mm 1.8
3- i knew i should have went a little wider, but with kids you only get one chance to take a shot.
2 &4 was done with a kit lens 55-200
all were done using a D40 & SB-600. ( I need to get some better equipment)

I'll begin by saying the focus looks a bit soft to me on all of these except the last one. You have nice lighting and exposure on all of them.

1. Good composition and great capture of emotion on this one with his sad expression and the teardrop on his left cheek.

2. I love this one! Great composition and you captured the essence of personality quite nicely; he is a real scene stealer.

3. Nice composition and personality capture.

4. A nice snapshot.
