Thanks. I do rely on the histogram a LOT! And the zoom. It was just a matter of trusting it, I guess. It was always leftward somewhat on all the dark Lightroom imports. I've also read of Canon shooters saying they just set the EV at +2/3 and leave it there. Although that sounds kind of goofy. Okay, only 101 more functions to master!!

I forgot to say that a wedding photographer came out to shoot at the first spot I stopped at. The bride and groom were all decked out in dress and tuxedo. Which did make me wonder about the harsh light of 4 in the afternoon? All they had was a gold reflector. I started to ask them if I could watch, but decided not to and left for the next stop. (The size, dress, actions and language of the man & woman shooting made me think they were straight from the trailer park.)
