I doubt users are going to trust and download items from a new user to the forums. If you're trying to show photos you can use the sites upload feature like any other forum to upload photos to to show in threads - meanwhile you can also use any one of a number of 3rd party image hosts to display photos online as well such as Photobucket, Flickr or imageshack.
