Need your opions on photos :]

hi,
So I stared using my canon SX30 IS and I was surprised with the various specs it has and the shutter speeds it has, not with the apertures though ;/ but anyway here are some picture I took of my soccer cleats (Nike Mercurials) so please comment on them and help me become a better photographer thanks :]
1) I dont think this one was to good simply plain and boring but hey I might be wrong (probably not )

2)This one i liked somewhat more i made it so that only the neon green color is seen the rest black and white

3)This on i like the best I set the apeture low and zoomed in more to get the shallow depth of field. I used a poster effect to give it the texture and contrast. (No photoshop)

4) This one i also like. So i zoomed in and set the aperture low to get the shallow depth of field and i also used a "miniture effect" which basically allowed me to put on are more in focus then the others

What do you think? Are they any good? Any comments and criticisms?

Also, on the one where you made the background black and white, you also made a huge chunk of your shoe black and white.

Thanks every for the tip ill try to redo it by the way though the shoe is no fully neon green its half green half gray so thats why it may appear to be balck and white
