hey everyone! i am looking to get a new lens for sony alpha 200. I currently hae a 18-70mm. I am looking for a macro lens. Wondering which would be better to invest in a zoom/macro or just a macro lens? What is the difference? If it is a zoom/macro will it lose its macroness? Thanks for any help you can offer, I am just learning about lenses and appreciate any advice you may

budget is important.
Also many of the zoom macro lenses are not true macro - they get to 1:2 ratio, whilst true macro is 1:1 (1 being object size and the second value being the size of the object on the sensor)

The result is that the zoom macros can't get anywhere nears as "close" as the dedicated macros.
