New baby in the family!

I hope i can make good use of this lens. Bought from an associate today, grey market in "like new" condition for $760.

Any tips on creative use? I've read to set the DC to the same aperture, rear for a subtle softening of the OOF elements behind my subject.

Nice! So.. since you've got that, I assume you'll have no further use for that 200 f2; you should just wrap that up and pop it on the next north-bound dog-sled so that I can take it off of your hands!

Sold that about a month after I bought it, on eBay. Happens that my idol, photographically speaking, was the buyer.

Thanks, I'm flattered but Erich is the master, I'm light years away from his manipulation of light and post processing. He's a cool guy, teaches around the world. Perhaps I'll get a lesson next time he's in the area.

Okay, okay. Enough pictures OF it and talking about it, now go shoot WITH it and post them here. With your lack of posting photos lately, I'm sure the line of subjects are backed up all the way to SF and causing traffic issues.

Forgetting the DC, Just the focal length and quality of glass should be great.
