These are of one (maybe 2) of 5 Clouded Leopard cubs recently introduced to the Nashville Zoo. They are about 6 months old and act just like kittens would. They were chasing each other, climbing, running, and just enjoying life.

They were shot during the Golden Hour just before sunset since the zoo had a Members Only thing this evening from 6:00 until 8:00. I only stayed about an hour because it was HOT, but these guys are what I went to see. They were just released last week and this was the first time I've seen them. The shots were pretty tough because it was relatively dim in their area and I was shooting through a glass window. The EXIF data shows that they were shot between 1/15 and 1/25 second (hand-held, f/5, ISO 800, and between 90 and 125mm) and catching them still for even that long was not easy ;)

I'd never have guessed those were taken from the other side of a glass window; nicely done. I particularly like the first one, although I'd be tempted to crop it to a portrait orientation to cut out some of that white object in the background and put the emphasis more on the cat's face.

Thanks, but I prefer the landscape orientation. I looked at in portrait when I did the post processing and didn't like it as well. The white in the background is a food bowl. They have toys, bowls, balls, and everything else scattered all over their paddock. This was one of those times when I got what I could when I could and hoped for the best. They were playful and it was time for their supper so they were everywhere except still.

Edit ... I did clone out the food bowl though ;)

Nah, it's OK. I'm glad you like the shot but it would have been nice if you had asked first though.
