Hi All,
I'm putting together my first studio and want to buy it all at one time. I'm just a glorified shutterbug, but I'm tired of the kids' school pictures looking lousy. With some practice I would also like to donate my services to friends and family.
With all of your combined wisdom, I have been convinced to buy AlienBees. This is what I'm thinking:

2 B800 Flash Units
2 10-foot General Purpose Light Stands
1 48-inch Translucent White Shoot-Thru Umbrella
1 48-inch Silver/White Reversible Bounce Umbrella
What about a soft box vs a brolly box?
What am I missing?
