Hi I'm new to the Photoforum. I`d be interested to know what people think of this photoI took in Sri Lanka when I was there earlier this year.

Hi J, welcome to TPF!!!
Wonderful greens in this photo, nice candid capture of a person at work, typical photo for a country like Sri Lanka, I assume.
The sun, however, was giving you some problems, wasn't it, in getting the light right in her face? With bright sunlight there also always are deep shadows, which makes portrait photography so difficult under such conditions.
And unfortunately her face is in the shadow. So the key element of this photo is getting lost. A pity, isn't it?
