New Music!

it looks animated... please tell me I'm wrong so I'll try to build one.

I wish that could be possible! That would be about 500 pounds of force with all those strings tuned up... lol

Chris, I don't think you're wrong, it looks animated to me too. But it's quite well done. :D

yeah, definitely animated...
They made the action on that first instrument about an inch high to show off their animating skills. If it were real it would be playing out of tune.

It is a really amazing animation though! I still want to build one btw...

That was - amazing! Fun to watch and beautiful to listen to. :lovey:

Kudos to the animator, as well as to whoever was actually playing. Could you musician types tell me the types of actual stringed instruments that were playing along here, and how many?

I hear classical guitar, then the sitar comes in.
After that is some kind of fretless bass(arabian style)
harp is in the background the whole time.
There's a mandolin in there every once in a while.

I can't tell what one of those instruments is... That's all I can hear.

Well, I could never name the instrumets actually playing, but the animated one has 9 heads (that I could count) so I'd assume there are as many instruments actually playing...

I believe I hear a Tanpura and possibly a Pipa. There's others in there too but I can't quite put my finger on them
