No 1 - I would go for a horisontal portrait and show a bit more of the car. The crop is a bit too tight here to my taste for an invironmental portrait.
No 2 - I like this, very dynamic, says a lot about the car
No 3 - Windscreen is a huge distraction - it should be sparkling clean (not your fault obviously). And I would like to see a part of the dashboard and his hand on the wheel.
No 4 - This one is kind of nice as well, but the composition is dominated by the row of trees and the car is too small and too much in the corner

All in all ist is a good session but could be improved upon, I think.

I like the motion in your second photo, but most of the set seems to be more about Him than the Miata.

I like the motion in your second photo, but most of the set seems to be more about Him than the Miata.

For what it's worth, I took a bunch more pictures
of the car which he has and I didn't post (he wants to have before / after pictures). These were a few of my favorites.
