New to macro

Canon 60 macro = 3.5"
Canon 100 macro = 6"
Canon 180 macro = 9.5"

from front of the lens.....3.5" with the 60mm

With the 180mm Canon macro or the Sigma, about 9.5 from the lens front, but about 18" from the film plane to the subject at 1:1 magny.
