What's new

New to me Cedar Waxwing

I went to Daniel Webster Preserve in Marshfield for my 1 st time the other day. They have a 'blind' that @ 10 people can fit in by a small pond. There was a couple of cedar waxings there but. It much else the day I went. Looking for a better spot..
Nice captures,
Nancy

Thanks, This was taken at Daniel Webster the other night. 80% of my wildlife photos are taken there. I go to that blind when I have a few minutes just for the peace and quiet in the evenings

Nice shots Mike, I didn't know we had those around here !!!

Hey Bill. Ya first time Ive seen them and there were a bunch of them eating right at dark.

Those are interesting birds. Great shots.
Definitely an interesting really smooth feather pattern and sharp edges on the head.

I took a few shots of them earlier this year in the spring and asked what they were. They were feeding on berries on my berry tree. Taking shots at 300mm just 20 feet away. I still see them flying around. They are the "bat" looking birds in the evening that I see flying erratic patterns.
