Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hello everyone, I've loved photography for awhile now, took a class in high school and have since forgotten most of the techniques. :( BUT I want to get back into taking pictures again so here is a few of some of my recent photos. Please feel free to edit and offer advice/comments. I also am in the process of getting a tripod which I hope will help tremendously. The lightning pictures I was mostly trying to get the hang again of my shutter speed.
Thank you!

Your lightning photos are too out of focus, The rest look great, too bad about the wing of the dragon fly.

If you cropped that pic of the dragon fly, try to get his wing and tail back in the photo.

Lightning is almost impossible with out a tripod! Great shots for not having one!

Unfortunatley, the dragonfly was taken like that. It was snapped while taking my kids to the lake and I didn't notice unti I was home...
and the lightning pics probably would have be immensly better had I not been physically holding the camera. A storm went through tonight so I ran outside to try to practice my shutter speed. Lightning is immpossible to guess but it was so much fun!

I love weather shots and lightning is my # 1 thing! Here is one of mine and yes I was on a tripod. I still dont know how you were able to get anything with out it so BRAVO!!!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! It's motivation to actually keep up with this hobby. And that lightning shot is amazing! It was hard to get, I only three I got were three out of hundreds. I love weather shots too, especially after last night. It feels like you are capturing such a raw part of nature.

I pride myself on capturing Moments in Time. I find lightning to be the epitome of moments! I have many others and I chase all the time. If you are going to do it. Scout out great locations and then wait for the right storm. Have lots of back up ideas so no matter what directions the storms are moving in you got a shot with a predetermine location. It took me about 1 year to finally get that shot!
